Kagyu Monastery is situated at Uttarey at an altitude of 7200fts. This monastery is one of the oldest monasteries in Sikkim. It was built in the year 1711 A.D. from here you can enjoy the magnificent views of wide range of mountains, Lush green forests and Tribal village area in 360 degree angel.

There is also a holy temple called “YUMA SAM” Of LIMBOO (T- SONG). Community near to this monastery. From this place you can enjoy intensification view of tribal village of Sherpa, Lepcha and Limboo and also beautiful mountains and forests.

Trout hatchery center is established by Government of Sikkim. Here you can enjoy the view of Trout ( fish of the Salmon family) rearing center.

Saino bridge you can see on the way to Mainbas Falls, built over KALEZ KHOLA ( Kalez River). “Saino means “Relationship”, in Nepali language it has been said by the local people, the meaning of Saino bridge is keep the healthy relationship with love and peace between people lives in Uttarey, Sopakha, Sepi, Kumb Khola and other villages. It is a beautiful bridge where you can go for fishing & picnic. On the way if you are lucky enough, you can see natural habitat of Red Panda, Himalayan Musk Deer & many species of birds are found.It is build by Mr Sherhang Limboo Subba, owner of Nagbeli hotel and resort.

It takes 30 min from Saino Bridge to reach Mainbas Waterfalls. It is so beautiful please where you feel so relax soothe and suitable for picnic.

This bridge is located 4km drive from Uttarey Valley. It is 2nd Highest Bridge in Asia. It lines 300 mtr. Above from the ground and it’s 260mtr in length surrounded by mountains, lush green forests. This is another attraction for tourist in west site. There is small garden and canteen where the tourist can sit and have a cup of tea and take the photo also.
